Default Imported .pdfs, change the color of the lines?

I have the plumbing and underground structural plans imported together and want to brand it more than clear which is which. Is there a mode to change the color of the lines in each?

Try printing the PDF's to .TIFF, then insert the image into the drawing.

This process only makes the line piece of work visible, and then yous tin can hands overlay the image in your drawing, change the color, etc.

Hope this helps!

One would consign to tiff, and ane wouldn't (Adobe said it was too wide?). Trying to become my doc managing director to convert them for me.

FWIW when I dragged the pdfs into AutoCAD 2011 simply the line work shows up at present and the backgrounds are transparent.

....

Give information technology a endeavour, would you...
  • Open up the PDF you want (Adobe Reader will work)
  • Open the impress window
  • Select "Microsoft Office Document Image Viewer" for the Printer Name
  • Click the PROPERTIES Button
  • Select the "Page" Tab
  • Select your Folio Size
  • Select "Avant-garde" Tab
  • Select "TIFF - Monochrome Fax" for the Output Format
  • Select "Super Fine (300 DPI)" for the reolution
  • Hitting the OK button to close the properties window
  • Hit the OK push button to print
Save the file to your desired location, then elevate into AutoCAD... wallah' Transparent groundwork, zero but line piece of work, and every bit requested, y'all can change the color for each .TIFF independently.

I don't have "Microsoft Office Document Image Viewer" merely practise have "Microsoft XPS Certificate Author" and it does not have page size options.

The reason I said "export" earlier is that in Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended I click
File->Export->Prototype->Tiff

One of the two files works, the other says:
"Acrobat could non save a page in this document because of the post-obit fault:

The image is too wide to output. Delight crop it or reduce resolution and effort over again. (Page 1)"

Tried cropping it as much as I could simply no go. Interestingly the file that DID consign is 1,340 KB while the i that won't is only 426 KB (430 after ingather).

I have it that even though the pdfs themselves imported with transparent backgrounds there is however no way to alter the colour of them?

Forgive my before supposition, as most companies use Microsoft Function, the MDI Viewer is included with Role (hence the name)... If you do in fact employ Part, then this may be a simple consequence of your Information technology Department making the print driver available to the CAD users.

The folio size is not critical, but I tried be as inclusive of the steps as possible. Even without specifying a page size the process worked (for me).

I attempted the XPS Document Author without success.

Understood. The cropping consequence is curious...

I know of no manner to colorize an OLE object, which is the resulting entity when adding a PDF to AutoCAD.
