Halloween Front Door Bat Wreath
Halloween is my favorite vacation to decorate for, and I always enjoy coming up with new and dissimilar wreath ideas to decorate my front door with. I rounded upwards several supplies to quickly and inexpensively create this colorful Halloween wreath. Virtually everything used to make this projection came from the dollar shop, so yous won't spend a lot to make this big, colorful Halloween wreath!
Supplies Used:
- Metal Wreath form
- Foam bats, plain and glittered
- Tulle
- Craft wire
- Glue gun
- Unfinished Woods Witch's Hat
- Arts and crafts Paint: Lime Green and Regal
- Burlap ribbon
Stride one: Wrap the metallic wreath form with tulle. This will assistance the bats attach better. I tied ane terminate to the metallic form and and then started wrapping the wreath course. You can pivot the end in place.
Step ii: Cutting six-viii inch pieces of craft wire and wrap them around sections of the wreath form. These volition be used to help some of the bats "wing" off the wreath grade.
Footstep three: First hot gluing the bats onto the wreath class and the wire ends. I started with plain royal bats first, then added glittery bats on top. Proceed moving in one direction until the wreath is as full as you like. I used approximately 40 plain bats (ii packs of 20) and 30 glittery bats.
Pace iv: Paint the unfinished wood witch's hat. I decided to utilize green and purple pigment, since that'due south my favorite Halloween color combination!
Stride five: Hot glue the hat on top of the bats. I besides glued a piece of xanthous fabric to the back of the wreath to expect like a moon, but this is optional.
I love to utilize the purple and green colour combination with my Halloween decorating, but if yous prefer the more traditional orangish and black color scheme but use blackness cream bats instead of the purple ones I chose. This witch hat wreath is a fun, non spooky way to greet visitors to your home this Halloween!
